Worklenz Mobile v1.0.4 brings task count visibility to every Kanban status column, makes Recent Tasks the first thing you see in the Activity section, and cleans up the reactions popup UI. Seven bugs are resolved: a keyboard staying open post-login, garbled task titles on the Home page, comment attachments not loading immediately, a hidden dark mode icon in the Team Invite drawer, an access issue for freshly logged-in subscribed users, cross-project filter bleed-over, and incorrect Android placeholder backgrounds during project creation.

✨ Improvements

Board

  • Added task count indicators for each Kanban board status column
    Each status column now shows a task count badge in the column header, so you can see how many tasks sit in each stage at a glance.
    How to use:
    1. Open a project and switch to the Board view
    2. Look at the header of any status column (e.g. In Progress, Done)
    3. The badge next to the column name shows the current task count, updating as tasks move

Home

  • Updated the Recent Activity section to display "Recent Tasks" as the default tab for quicker access to task updates
    The Recent Activity section now opens to the Recent Tasks tab by default. The most relevant task updates surface immediately on load without switching tabs.
    How to use:
    1. Open the app and go to the Home page
    2. Scroll to the Recent Activity section
    3. The Recent Tasks tab is active by default, your latest task interactions are visible immediately

  • Improved the reactions list popup UI for a cleaner and more user-friendly experience

General

  • General UI/UX refinements across the mobile application
  • Stability and performance improvements for a smoother user experience
  • Minor enhancements and optimizations applied across multiple screens and workflows

🐞 Fixes

Login & Navigation

  • Fixed an issue where the keyboard remained open after login and navigation to the Home page
  • Fixed access issue affecting newly logged-in subscribed accounts, where Home and Project pages required reopening the app to become accessible

Home & Task List

  • Resolved an issue causing task titles to display as unrecognized or unreadable text on the Home page
  • Fixed filter persistence across projects when switching between different projects

Comments & Attachments

  • Fixed comment attachments not being viewable immediately after upload

Dark Mode & UI

  • Resolved dark mode visibility issue where the Add icon in the "Invite to the Team" drawer was not visible
  • Fixed Android UI issue where Project Name and Description placeholders displayed with incorrect dark backgrounds during project creation
